Optional Wildlife Activities in Kruger Park
These excursions are carried out by qualified Field Guides from Kruger Park
and all participants must sign an indemnity form. We suggest you
pre-book with our office
and then tickets are purchased at your Rest Camp in the Park.
Night Drives (when not included) conducted in an open vehicle with spotlights give passengers the chance to see nocturnal species such as the big cats, rhino, hippo, hyena, genet & civet.
The duration is 2-3 hours and the cost is R100 per adult. Children pay half price but must be at least 6 years old. Wear long pants,sox, shoes,warm jacket & use insect repellent.
Bush Walks in
the company of 2 armed Field Guides allow small
groups of guests to study the smaller creatures
including insects and birds, learn about the
trees and experience the thrill of tracking big
game on foot.
The duration is approximately 3 hours early morning
or afternoon and costs R200 per person including
water and snacks. No children under 12 years.
Wear long pants, comfortable shoes or boots,
cap
and bring sun block.
