If you don't have time to visit Kruger Park, we can offer shorter safaris to Pilanesberg, which is only 2 hours drive from Johannesburg and also its malaria-free. 

Pilanesberg National Park covers an area of 55,000 hectares and is situated in the North West Province in an eroded volcano which is millions of years old. This park is unique because it is the result of one of the biggest ever game translocations with over 6,000 animals having been relocated to Pilanesbergsince 1979. There is a wide diversity of animals including "the Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) as well as 30 other large mammal species, 350 birds and 65 reptiles. Game drives are available during the morning, late afternoon and night time.

Just nearby is South Africa's most dynamic and exciting entertainment complex - Sun City Resort. There are many activities on offer such as - a visit to the Palace of the Lost City, the Valley of the Waves, water sports, restaurants, the casino and the Extravaganza Show.

We recommend that Sun City is combined with game viewing in Pilanesberg. If you wish to stay for one or two nights there is a choice of accommodation including Manyane Resort, Bakubung & Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge or the more reasonably priced Sundown Ranch Hotel. We can arrange bookings according to your preference and availability.
